You have helped me SO MUCH with this. I finally feel confident and secure in my abilities to do this business thing without a job as a safety net. Forever grateful.

Brooke Czarnecki

Dietician & Owner

"It's been phenomenal working with Alex & Will with my business finances. Before them, I didn't have a systematic way of handling it or even truly understand what impact it was having on my personal life. If you are looking to scale your business, have more peace of mind, and find more profit in your business don't wait."

Taylor Busch

Fractional CFO, CEO Finance Academy

Taylor blends a rare mix of operations, people leadership, and finance to help owners make smarter decisions—and feel confident doing it. Based just north of the Kansas City metro, she’s been serving CEO Finance Academy clients since April 2025, partnering with founders as a collaborative thought-partner rather than a “black-and-white” numbers cop.

With an undergraduate degree in Operations & Business Finance from Kansas State University (emphasis in food & beverage) and a Master’s in Finance from the University of Saint Mary (Leavenworth, KS), Taylor’s career has spanned commercial real estate and development, cattle and farming, oil & gas, and hands-on COO/HR roles. She’s also deep in real estate: commercial and residential practice, coaching residential agents on business building and investing, plus experience in hotel development and projects with national brands like Academy Sports, Scooters, and McDonald’s.

What sets Taylor apart is how she ties the story behind every line item to real operational change. She loves diagnosing capacity, efficiency, and demand—often unlocking hidden profit without “just sell more” as the answer. A recent example: spotting a sales-tax misapplication that returned $40,000 to a client, and guiding another owner through projections that turned their “someday” life into today’s plan.

How Taylor Works

Collaborative coach: expects (and welcomes) back-and-forth thinking to co-create solutions that fit you and your business.

Operations-first finance: connects people, process, and numbers so improvements actually stick.

Owner education: builds your financial foundation so you can confidently question advice and hold your team and vendors to a higher standard.

Favorite Problems to Solve

Capacity & labor efficiency mapping

Margin repair before scaling sales

Real-estate strategy (commercial/residential) for operators and investors

Practical forecasting and “what-if” modeling that drive decisions

Outside the Office

Small-town at heart, Taylor is a proud mom of a teenager, an outdoors enthusiast (hiking the Tetons, fishing, hunting, pickleball), and a former wedding-cake baker who paid her way through college—proof that discipline and creativity can (deliciously) coexist.
